Privacy Policy
Nursling does not collect your data, because there is nowhere for it to go. There is no account, no server and no analytics in the app. Everything you record stays on your device.
What Nursling stores
Nursling stores the nursings you record — the start time, the duration, the side, and any correction you make afterwards — along with your settings, such as reminders, the dark-at-night preference, and an optional baby name. All of it is written to a local database on your device.
That local data is included in your device's encrypted iPhone or iCloud backup, the same way any other app's local data is. Nursling itself does not upload it, sync it, or read it back from anywhere.
What Nursling does not do
- No account, sign-up, email address, or login of any kind.
- No server. Nursling has no backend and makes no network requests to send your data.
- No analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting SDK, or usage tracking.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No third-party trackers or data brokers. Your data is never sold or shared, because it is never collected.
Health data
The nursings you record are personal and sensitive, and Nursling treats them that way: they stay on the device. Nursling does not read from or write to Apple Health, and it does not transmit your records anywhere.
Purchases
Nursling is free for your first 50 nurslings. Unlimited tracking is a single one-time purchase, handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Nursling never sees or stores your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether the unlock has been purchased. Your history and your CSV export remain available whether you buy or not.
Exporting and deleting your data
You can export everything you have recorded to a CSV file at any time, from Settings, and that export is free forever. Because your data lives only on your device, deleting the app deletes the data with it. You can also delete individual nursings inside the app.
Children
Nursling is intended for parents and caregivers, not for children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Nursling's approach — nothing leaves the device — is a design decision, not a setting, so any change here would be a change to the app itself.
